Julie is an Arizona native and the East Valley has always been her home. She was raised in Tempe and graduated from McClintock High School. She continued her education at MCC and ASU, graduating Magna Cum Laude from ASU in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in French and a Spanish minor. She returned to MCC from 2010-2012 and completed the Certificate of Beginning Piano Pedagogy and the Certificate of Intermediate Piano Pedagogy.
She has been teaching piano in her private home studio in Chandler for twenty years now. She has enjoyed volunteering as Treasurer since 2012 and has also volunteered with other events such as Ensemble and Arizona Study Program. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to belong to an organization that supports teachers in their continued growth, as well as providing many great opportunities for students.
