EVMTA events may be canceled by EVMTA due to causes beyond the reasonable control of EVMTA that would render an event impossible or make conditions for an event hazardous. Such causes shall include, but not be limited to: weather, acts of war, riot, fire, accident, flood, terrorist act, transportation failure or delay, governmental or court-ordered laws, pandemics, strikes, technical failures, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of EVMTA. In the event of a cancellation:
- All affected event entrants will be notified immediately via e-mail of the cancellation.
- The canceled event might be rescheduled or moved to an online event in order to provide a safe environment for participants.
- No refunds of entry fees will be given for any reason, including non-participation in any in-person or online event.
