Music Showcase will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at two venues:

  • SUPERSTITION SPRINGS MALL at 6555 E. Southern Ave., Mesa, AZ 85206 in Dillard’s Court and at
  • CHANDLER FASHION CENTER at 3111 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85226.

A registration fee of $15 ($40 cap per family) will be charged for each student participating. Parents pay the teacher, who then pays EVMTA for the total amount.

Parent letters should be copied and given to parents the week of September 26 – October 2, 2022. Online registration will be available from October 2– October 15, 2022.

Please remember that the morning slots are the most popular, so do not assume that you are going to get that time slot. It may be necessary to split your studio into morning and afternoon sessions.

Your students may play in costume in celebration of the Halloween season if they wish. You may program your students according to a theme (jazz, movie themes, etc.) This is a less formal venue than other EVMTA recitals, but each piece must be polished and of public performance quality. The musical score may be used. Your students may play one or two pieces.

Please note: All teachers must be in attendance with their studio at the appointed time and stay until the next teacher arrives. Please arrive 10 minutes before your first student is to play to ensure smooth flow from one studio to the next. If you will be unable to stay until the next teacher arrives, you must notify one of the co-chairs ahead of time, as the pianos cannot be left unattended at any time! As with all of our events, if you have students performing, you may be asked to contribute your time in some way.
