EVMTA Recording Secretary

Pam Allman is a graduate of Drury University where she earned a B.M.E. with a piano performance emphasis.  She studied under Dr. Robert Pennington and Dr. Sidney Vise.  During the summers she studied under Dr. Victor Labunski at U.M.K.C. She has also earned graduate hours from UMKC.  She has attended workshops on Kodaly and Orff methods, Robert Pace Pedagogy and piano literature at CMSU.  She is certified in all levels of Suzuki training.  She holds a life-time teaching certificate from the State of Missouri in K-12 vocal music.

Pam has six years teaching experience in public schools and she has owned and run a piano studio in her home for 49 years.

Pam has held the office of President in her local chapter of MMTA, secretary of EVMTA, and State Certification Chairman of MMTA and ASMTA.  She has also served as an adjudicator for MMTA District Festivals, NFMC Festivals National Guild Auditions.
